Christmas Break at last!

im glad that no school for 2 weeks! *yay* i still have a lot of things to do. i have this hamlet project, which is due on january 8th (first day of school in year 2007). i have a Data Management project, which is due on january 11th. *oh well* my Christmas break will be boring. hmm.. im pretty sure ill be sneaking some FUN ACTIVITIES over the break. pls dont ask me what coz' i dont have my plans for 2 weeks.
my remaining days before the break were great! they were not big deal to talk about but for me they went good. to start off... i had a picture with Santa Claus at school. our school principal was Santa. haha :) it is fun to be a kid once in a while. meanwhile, my ex-crush pretended to give me this school rubber, wristband. i treated it as a joke and grabbed it from him. he wanted it back but i wouldnt give it to him. we were like kids. nag-aagawan kami! he was strong --eventually, i just gave it to him. the worse part was my hand smelled orange. in addition, things have been doing well between me and my new crush. i know youre thinking that im like a kid. well, im kid at heart. i still watch cartoons. :p
anyways, i just had my calculus test on the last day, which was today. hmm.. it was a tough test. i admit that im not confident with the result of it. im praying to God that it wont lower my mark.
i just came from work. it was busy and im tired. im going to sleep soon. i hope i can talk to my friends in the Philippines during the break. ill try to be online on YM.

CinnaCrew Christmas Party

i forgot to write about the Christmas party i attended last sunday night. CinnaCrew is my short term for "Cinnabon's Crew". all the crew members with our manager at work were present at the party. we held the party at Imperial Buffet. *eat all you can* we pigged-out and exchanged gifts at the end. i did enjoy my night with them. i couldnt help myself laughing as well as eating a lot. if you were there, you would be shocked of seeing my plate so FULL. i couldnt avoid eating a lot. i only ate once during that day and that was 11am. i reserved my empty stomach until 7pm when the party started. *haha*
we used these code names for our Chris Kringle. i was CARAMEL. i didnt know who got mine until someone gave the gift to me. meanwhile, i already knew who i got but the person didnt know that i got him. i went the last minute to do shopping! im so lazy to buy it earlier. i bought it 3 hours before the party started. i walked around square one mall and couldnt think the present i should buy. after an hour, i finally decided my mind. i bought my manito a T-SHIRT! *long sleeve tshirt* i just picked an extra large shirt coz i dont actually know what size to fit him. i cant imagine it! well, im glad he likes it. *phew!*
the gift i received was a perfume and a lotion. i liked it. im not picky of the gifts i received. as long as it comes from the heart of the giver.
anyways... yesterday, i had my last test on data management. i bombed the test! i mean, i did bad on it. *jeez!* i was speaking earlier that my all my subjects' marks improved. *hmmph* i didnt try my best! im praying that it wont lower down my average. *pls Lord*

friday night... i had work from 5pm to 10.30pm. i was pretty tired yet i missed having work. the last time i worked was wednesday of last week. i dont know what i want. sometimes, i dont like to work but there are times i want to work. it really depends on my mood.
satuday morning... i went to work at 9am until 3pm. it was the FIRST SATURDAY that my manager didn't scold me. she usually scolds me every saturday. i admit that im not really that good in my current job. anyways, im still happy. she makes me nervous all the time!
night time... we went to a Christmas party held by the former NSC employees. its so good to see the ILIGANONS again even though i dont know most of them. im happy i met a new friend. i've talked to her for few hours. i came at 6pm while she came before 7pm. when she went home, i got bored. i didnt join the DANCING HOUR for everyone. im KJ (KILL JOY). i lack social life.
it's already 12am past. im going to sleep. Thank You Lord for my blessed day. God bless everyone! =)

this is one of my favorite inspirational songs. it always moves me when i hear this song. sometimes, tears will just drop from my eyes. Christmas is coming. i have to do something for the Lord. what should i do??

i have been working on my English Culminating task for the rest of the week. my short story project was due yesterday! *phew* i feel like i gain freedom after being imprisoned! *lol*
Christmas Musical Concert: i've attended a musical concert last thursday at my school where my sister was part of it. she plays the clarinet. im so proud of her! it was so good. i like their performance.

it was dawn - friday, 8th of December- my family and i went to New York coz we attended a cousin's wedding. it was the first time for me to see her! my mom has a big family. i havent met them all.
FYI: i was absent at school last friday. it was the first time for me to be absent at school after 6 years!
along the way, our journey was smooth and i had good sleep. after we passed buffalo city, it was snowing! oh yes! it was the first time of this year that i've seen a REAL SNOW. i can show you a picture of it coz my mom took us a picture even though the sky was still dark. anyways, i drank 2 cups of hot chocolate. i was cold and needed a hot beverage to fill up my stomach! well, i have to be active every single hour to keep my dad awake. he was so tired and kept on saying that he was really sleepy. meanwhile, i played songs through my mp3 player -- my best buddy right now-- for hours. i chose alternative and punk rock songs to keep my head banging to keep it alive. *lol*
WE COULDN'T AVOID OURSELVES TO BE LOST ALONG THE WAY. good thing my dad has a GPS device. it kept us getting back to our real track. my dad drove slowly as the road was slippery. the funny thing was my dad took his car to a car wash shop the day before we left. after we passed through the snow, we couldn't recognize our car! it was so dirty.
we arrived safely during lunch time at New York. we stayed in a hotel. we went for a ride downtown Manhattan. it was hilarious coz our car was the only automobile who was dirty. it wasn't snowing at Manhattan. the surrounding was clean even though it was very windy and cold. people were staring. some smiled. others were shocked. *oh boy!*
i bought myself a new wallet. i was craving to buy one coz my old one was a disaster! *lol* i saw this winter jacket and i was tempted to buy it. it was on SALE! eventually, i bought it. it was a good bargain. if you actually want to know the discounted price, you will be shocked! well, i used my mom's credit card but i still paid her when we got back home.
back at the hotel... i did my calculus review! it was still friday night but i had a test last monday. i was planning to be absent on the test day but it didnt happen. i couldnt afford to be away at school for 2 days in a row. thats how i love school so much! *sarcastic smile* i slept in a room with my siblings! *yay* it was a reunion for us! at home, i shared a room with my little brother coz my sister doesnt want to share with anyone.
on saturday... it was the main event of the day. we prepared ourselves for the wedding. we wore semi-formal clothes. anyways, my mom forced me to put make-up! i really dont like putting make-up. one thing i discovered about Downtown Manhattan: it was so TRAFFIC! *jeez* it was a rush hour for everyone. we were going circles for an hour before we found a place for parking. my cousin was married at Times Square Church. i could really see that God is the center of their marriage life. i was happy for them as they are active in their church, doing great things for God.
saturday night... i decided not to continue my calculus review. instead, i ended up watching NBA game on TV. oh my gosh! it was a great timing. Miami Heats vs Denver Nuggets. Dwyane Wade vs Carmelo Anthony. *woohoo!* two of the great players were playing. well, i was disappointed coz the Heats lost. *aawww* my dad cut off our cable so i cant watch any NBA game right now. im only depending on the INTERNET to check the standings. my teams are: HEATS and SUNS.
sunday morning... i forced my parents to drive home early! there was inside of me that i really felt bad coz it was a time that my parents could enjoy. it is not easy to go back any time at New York coz it's too expensive. well, im so selfish. i had to go back immediately to study for Calculus test on monday. i didnt want to be absent since i missed a lot of lessons already. thank God coz there was no snow along the way. we got back early at around 9pm! *wow* the border bridge (canada-usa) was not traffic. it was a smooth pace for us.
back at home... we were back to our original activities now. thank God for all the blessings! :)

i've been happy since the early of the week. all of my subjects' mark updates have been increased! im now motivated to keep it higher. *thank God so much* they aren't as high as what you expect but i'm glad that my marks improved.
anyways, i like a new guy. its only a crush. *haha* well, he's been nice to me and we're good friends now, which i dont want it to fade. i like our situation right now. he's pretty smart coz he's beating me in one subject!
i felt sad for this weekend coz i wont be able to attend Giselle's debut!! we're going to attend a cousin's wedding at New York. i talked to my teacher at the end of class today. i need to catch up for our lessons. it's hard to miss class even ONE DAY! *jeez*

im just having my break right now. i have tests tomorrow! *both calculus and data management* here we go again, 4x already in the same day! *phew*
anyways, im happy my cousin finally updated his blog! haha after 3 months? hmm.. also, his brother sent me a testimonial in friendster. i havent heard both of them for so long!
Christmas is next month! i wish i could go home. honestly, i cant feel the "Christmas season" here. it's like no spirit is happening. i miss everybody back at home!
next wednesday is the deadline of my rough copy for my english short story project. how can i write a historic fiction, which is half-truth and half-fiction?? im bad at writing! i havent started writing it yet.
feeling this week: stressed
anyways, im happy my cousin finally updated his blog! haha after 3 months? hmm.. also, his brother sent me a testimonial in friendster. i havent heard both of them for so long!

monday:
i received my midterm report card. im a bit disappointed coz' my grade is lower than last school year. *need to work hard!* im still thankful to God that i reach in the 80s of my overall average.
tuesday:
i had both test on my Calculus and Data Management. that was the 3rd time that i had both 2 math tests on the same day! im thankful coz' my mark updates are still the same after the test!
wednesday:
i had work from 4 pm to 9.30pm. im thankful for the safety as i got home coz' i was taking the bus.
thursday:
i gathered all my research for my English culminating task. i made an outline of my story in preparation for the conference by friday. im happy i've done it!
friday:
i did very good on my conference about my project. it will help my mark in english to bring it up (at least). i had work today. the good thing about every 2nd friday of work is the arrival of our salary! *lol* it makes me feel better to work.
one thing more, i received an email from Brunswick Zone. they sent me a coupon that will allow me to play unlimited bowling for an hour. i can bring up to 4 friends! i only have to pay for the shoe rental. i will go on bowling again if i have my free time.

this week has been tough.
tuesday and wednesday: try-outs for volleyball. i haven't played sports for so long that my muscles are not used to it.
as a result on thursday: when i woke up, i couldn't get out of my bed. my body can move but my legs wouldnt. it was painful for me to move them. so, i decided to skip the last try-out and went to school at 9am (i always come at school at 8am).
friday: early release day. i got my probability test back! jee! im so disappointed. it brought my mark down. *sigh*
im working friday to sunday! *tired*
PS i had fun in my try-out. that was a nice experience for me. right now, i cant bend my knees. im having hard time going up and down the stairs. it hurts when i sit down and get up. i think, i develop muscles.
